Spotlight Projects: Mill Valley, CA

Lack of proper stairs and poor placement of a deck created an awkward, inaccesssible and unusable property for this Mill Valley family. We redesigned and expanded a deck to take advantage of the usable yard space and developed a proper stair case to access a lower yard and floor to the house. We designed new retaining walls and landscaped beds to provide color, contrast and screen a detached garage and fencing. An added bonus was a custom built wooden seat bench to separate the sloped yard from the deck area and provide storage area for the family.
